About This Group
For this group, you can share your thoughts and insight regarding any of your favorite sports, sporting events, teams, players, etc.
This does not have to be limited to Oklahoma. That is just the origination of the creator of this group. We have some great collegiate teams such as the OU Sooners, OSU Cowboys, TU Golden Hurricanes, and ORU Golden Eagles.
We also have many semi-professional teams and minor league teams like the Oklahoma Blazers of the Central Hockey League, and the Oklahoma Redhawks, the triple-A minor league team of the Texas Rangers.
More recently, we have added on a limited basis, an NBA franchise to call Oklahoma City its home, the New Orleans Hornets and their rookie-sensation Chris Paul. The Hornets are one of the suprise teams of the NBA and have been in the top-10 in league attendance all year long.
I would like for you to join the forum and start giving your opinions and ideas of your favorite teams. No matter what state or country for that matter, it should be a lot of fun.

NFL Sunday 1/21/06
This may just be the year of the Road 'dogs'. I have never seen teams as determined as the Pittsburg Steelers and Carolina Panthers to win on the road in the playoffs. This is why I am picking the Panthers in an upset over Seattle as Shawn Alexander has a disappointing day against the Panthers underrated defense. Final score will be Carolina 16-13 over the Seahawks. Mark it down. John Fox will go to his second Super Bowl and represent the NFC in Detroit. The Pittsburg Steelers and the Denver Broncos will have much more offense on display. 'Big Ben' against the 'Snake' will prove to be a showdown of epic proportions. The first 'sixth' seed to ever make the Super Bowl will be the Steelmen. Final score Pittsburg 34-30 over the Broncos. Tune in next week to get the Super Bowl XL pick. Detroit- "HERE THE BUS COMES"

An early NBA season
Why does everyone get so interested in numbers so quickly. The Detroit Pistons have the best record in the NBA, but all the talk is about getting to 70 wins. Who cares if they win 70. I mean that would be nice, and I am sure the Detroit fans would like it. But will that win you an NBA championship. You still have to play the post-season. They have to atleast beat a good Indiana or Miami team just to make it to the NBA finals where they will meet up with the San Antonio Spurs most likely. A rematch. And another title for San Antonio until something proves otherwise. But that is my point. It is still very early.
